Chan King Shing
King Shing based on singer Leo Ku to create the puppet. In the puppet show, he sang a song about the blue sky and clouds to encourage his friends.
King Shing loves drawing and he used to paint before joining the art workshop. When you look at his paintings, you may notice he loves to use yellow colour as the background colour or painting objects sometimes. To him, yellow is calming and beautiful.
“I think yellow is very beautiful.”
He also likes blue and fills some of his painting with blue. Before he draws, he would look at the canvas first, and then at the object again before he continues. He puts what he observes on the canvas.
He likes grapes, apples and bananas. When he worked on this food-themed series, he was excited and enjoyed it very much.
King Shing has a full-time jo now. He likes painting and strolling around the city. He loves watching TV at night and enjoying his favourite food. He takes good care of himself and focuses on every small details of life. A simple life as such, to King Shing, is more than a blessing.
